TRAVEL TIPS

Cancun is a thrilling destination that is an ideal spot for families, couples, and groups alike. The busiest time of year in Cancun is undoubtedly winter and spring, especially during Spring Break when millions of people flock to the seaside destination. Nearby destinations like Riviera Maya (which includes Playa del Carmen and Tulum), are not far from Cancun and easily accessible. Many visitors will find that the Hotel Zone (see below) offers everything they need to craft an amazing trip, including excursions into Mayan ruins and Yucatan jungles.

The rainy season in Cancun runs from May to December, with October being the wettest month.
