TRAVEL TIPS

South of the Tropic of Cancer, Mazatlan offers semi-tropical weather year-round with temperature between 77 and 86 degrees. With this constant sun, it is crucial you bring the proper protection while on vacation, including long shirts, hats, and sunscreen.

The currency of Mexico is the Peso. Be sure to exchange your current currency to Pesos before your trip. One Mexican Peso equals 0.058 US dollar.

Mazatlan is the only coastal spot in Mexico with an opera house. If you like live theater and opera, this is certainly something to check out while on vacation.

Drinking the tap water is not advised, like many other Mexico locations. Some hotels and resorts have filtered water systems, but be sure to check before you drink.
